Make it a Happy "Galentines" Day!

  • by

Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday this year, which makes it a great day for a brunch, and Tarot manifestation with friends. Use this light-hearted and insightful spread for your own event.

Brunch + Tarot

This spread that you can do with friends over brunch or coffee will show you how you might move forward in a relationship right now. That relationship might be with a person, your work, your own creativity or spirituality, or something else—you get the picture.

It will also help you practice reading the relationships between cards. You can know what each card means, but you’ll get more out of it if you can relate them to their position and to each other.

Begin

Ask a question about your role in a relationship in your life (not neccesarily romantic, see above). Take a moment, become still, and draw three cards. Place them as shown and turn them over one by one, looking at each meaning below. Take a deep breath with each card. Discuss with your friends!

CARD 1 YOUR RELATIONSHIP RIGHT NOW This is what the relationship looks like right now.

CARD 2 HOW TO MOVE FORWARD Here is the way to move this relationship forward. Look at the previous card, how to they relate? How far do you have to go to move it forward? For example: If the first card is the 6 of Stones and the second card is the High Priestess, then you might have to look more deeply (high priestess) at the balance of give and take (6 of Stones) between you and the other person.

CARD 3 WHERE YOU WILL BE Determine a time frame (One week? One year?) for where you will be in the relationship then. Look at how it relates to where you began. In our example above, if the final card is The Wheel of Fortune, it may be that the give and take will flip around due to your work in the subconscious.
