Tarot Readings this Saturday
If you’re a San Francisco North Bay local, come by and have a Tarot Reading 10 am – 12 noon Saturday, Aug 5 at the Remedy Local Apothecary & Petaluma Community Acupuncture storefront, next to Stellina Pronto! on Kentucky Street in Petaluma.
Readings are $25 for 15 minutes so it’s a great way to try it out!
New Tarot Advice Column
I’ve been reading Tarot in person again lately (see above!) and it’s so satisfying to connect with people around facing and addressing life’s challenges. We use the cards together around a question to create focus and guidance into a chosen direction.

To reach more people, I’m launching an advice column here. People can email kary@sparktarot.com with a question, and I’ll do a mini-spread to answer it. Anyone reading can also use the spread for their own similar question. I’ll be using my deck, the SparkTarot® to do readings.
How I Read Tarot
In some cases Tarot advice can be very definitive with regard to outcome! But in many cases it’s more about how to specifically approach a given situation. That kind of focus can be very useful to help move things forward when they feel stuck.
The way I read Tarot for people asking advice is positive and action-oriented no matter what cards turn up. It means that we look at the cards to see what’s happening currently and how the questioner can interact with the situation to create the best outcome.
You are always in charge of you. Nothing is set in stone with Tarot, like some people might think. It’s an oracle in the sense that it will read the path you are on right now. And once you know where you’re going, you can decide whether to go there or not.
